Events
The annual weekend of events was established in memory of the late Coach Ken Baker. For nearly two decades, a committee of friends and family has organized the weekend to raise money for the fund which awards scholarships to deserving students from both the Hoosick Falls and Cambridge school districts.
The weekend has become a reunion of family, friends, students and former athletes. The funds raised during this annual weekend allow the Coach Baker Fund to continue its mission to support students in Hoosick Falls and Cambridge.
Coach Baker Fund Grand Finale - 2026 Weekend of Events
Earlier this year, the Baker Family & the Coach Ken Baker Fund Committee announced that the 2026 weekend of events would be our final one. We hope you can join us for our grand finale!
Friday Night Social Event - Friday, June 19, 6-8 p.m.
Location: Hoosick Falls Country Club
The Baker Family and the Coach Ken Baker Fund Committee are hosting a Friday night social event on June 19 from 6-8 p.m. at the Hoosick Falls Country Club. Heavy appetizers will be served and a formal event program is being developed.
We especially would like to welcome our previous scholarship recipients and committee members to attend this event.
We look forward to sharing memories, recognizing our scholarship recipients and committee members, and expressing our gratitude to the community that made the fund what it is today.
We hope you can join us on June 19!
To ensure the event is a success, we are requesting that individuals RSVP for the Friday night event so we can provide an accurate number to the Country Club.
Ken Baker Memorial Golf Tournament - Saturday, June 20
Location: Hoosick Falls Country Club
Time
Early tee: 8 a.m. (Registration: 7:15-7:45 a.m.) 7 openings
Late tee: 1 p.m. (Registration: 12:15-12:45 p.m.) 1 opening
Format
The tournament will be a regular scramble format. There will be both gross and net winners.
Entry Fee
$95/player
Entry fee covers golf, lunch (BBQ chicken) and cart.
Players can pay on site at the tournament or pay in advance. If you are paying in advance, please make checks payable to Coach Baker Fund and send them to:

Handicaps
If you have an established handicap, please include it on the form. If not, include your average score for 9 or 18 holes.
Team
You may form your own team or be paired up with others to form a four-person team. Please fill out the form and send your check for the tournament entry fee as soon as possible.
